Well, I'm devastated to report that yesterday, my mother-in-law told me via telephone that during her late August/early September visit, she and my father-in-law thought I looked wider (yep, wider) and wondered if I was pregnant.
Well folks, seeing as how I only conceived three or four days before their arrival, this was definitely something no woman wants to hear. Absolutely never. Not ever.
Happy Friday...hope your weekend is filled with only complimentary observations (and may all the rest be silenced).

I'm utterly speechless.
Well, it's comments like that from this point on. Trust me, I've heard some doosies.
You just have to ignore all of those comments--you know, when people ask if you're having twins or if you're almost due when you are not. People need to just not say anything at all.
Oh Laura, I'm sure you look beautiful. Someone is always going to have something critical to say. IGNORE.
People who say stuff like that probably don't feel that great about themselves.
Oh. My. God.
I always want to have a good comeback in these moments but I never do. How is one supposed to respond to a comment like this?
