I bought a hard-cover copy of this book yesterday for $6.98 (I'd rather turn paper pages than electronic ones on the iPad, which has become Sabine's anyway). I can't wait to read it. Will I ever have time to read it? I hope so because her writing is mind blowingly, effortlessly, beautifully perfect.

I am a little bit jealous as I read this one last summer and I loved it! SAVOR it! As a matter of fact, I might be one of the only few left who have not read Barbara Kingslover's previous novels, especially The Poisonwood Bible, but I happen to be in the middle of it right now. The imagery is decadent which draws me into her world. I found that even more so with The Lacuna which I will most likely read again.
Enjoy! Let me know what you think of it! I would love to hear your opinion!
Hugs,
Debbie
