TOMS Eyewear

You guys, TOMS announced yesterday that they are now carrying eyewear. There are three styles to choose from (see below): a Ray-Ban Wayfarer-like design, an aviator style and a Jackie O. look. Each is super cool, but more importantly, TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie has applied the One-for-One campaign to the sunglasses, too.

Upon learning that of the nearly 284 million visually impaired people in the world, 90% live in developing countries, and two-thirds of them are women, Mycoskie wanted to do something about it (God, I love him). For every pair of shades that is sold, one person in a developing country receives sight: a medical treatment, prescription sunglasses or sight-saving surgery.
