Laura Mauk: I've written and/or edited for Paper, Bookforum, Allure, Architectural Digest and Western Interiors & Design magazines. I'm now married and a mama. My family is one part Mexican, Scottish and Danish (that's me); one part West Indian (my husband is from the British Virgin Islands); and two parts all of the above (my not-so-spitting images, Sabine and Zadie).
